We went there on a Thursday and it was quiet , clean and the quintessential hole in the wall. Christina, the server was very attentive and knew exactly what I would like since I am a vegetarian. I received a veggi rice bowl with tofu. My hubs ended up with potstickers and chicken bulgogi. Served hot and delicious. I highly recommend

Waffling between a 3 and 4. If Google allowed half points, this would be a 3.5.

(i put my leftovers in a tupperware) but this all was 10/10!! i called in and ordered my food for takeout i ordered chicken bulgogi, jajangmyeon, and tteokbokki. that tteokbokki was gone in like 10 minutes it was very good. the chicken bulgogi was about 18 dollars but it came with a good amount of stuff. it came with the chicken itself, and like three side dishes + rice. so i would say it’s a decent price for what i got. the customer service was good when i went in there briefly, and the environment was very comfortable!! 10/10 would recommend:)

I came in on a late lunch. The restaurant was not busy at all. I got the beef bulgogi which was seasoned and cooked very well. The different type of kimchi that comes with the meal tastes homemade. This reminded me of the market place resrarants I use to go to in Pusan (now called Busan) in the early 90s.

How does this restaurant get a 4-star rating? It’s not a true rating. It should be a 2-Star rating.

Loved our experience at Sami’s true authentic Korean restaurant. Went with a Korean friend but if you are not familiar with Korean food don’t worry the staff is very helpful and will explain the menu. My 13 year old loved it. The tables on both sides of us had teens, so very kid friendly. It has a Mom/ Pop feel to it.

I ordered the bibimbap for takeout. I was surprised that the price increased again to $18 but I get it, times are tough. The flavor was good, but they have also reduced portion sizes. I understand restaurants have to charge more now but what I dont understand is charging more money and then reducing the quantity.

i love this place. the people here are attentive and my food is always so flavorful. the kimchi is made fresh, and the tteokbokki is so great and the perfect amount of savory heat. i’ve dined in and done take out and both were perfect. i’ve made a mistake finding out this place is close to home because I keep going back.

I used to go to Sami’s all the time. And now the food has changed so much….It is not as good as it used to be when it was owned by the original owner. The beef bulgogi had no flavor at all. I don’t mind change, but 5he person who is cooking doesn’t care.
