If you are travelling through southern Oregon, you have to stop here and get the Porkstrami sandwich! It is heavenly. We also enjoyed the albacore, both grilled and cold. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in a long while & my wife’s burger was delicious according to her! Definitely different than how I remembered the place being many years ago but still amazing!

The sandwiches at Sammich are always delicious. All of the ingredients are fresh and go well together in the sandwiches. Some of the sandwiches can be a bit pricey. The atmosphere is relaxed and smelling the smoking meat makes for a great atmosphere.

I have been showing at this place for years now. It’s changed a bit, not all for the better. There used to be more of a local vibe. It’s streamlined, and the quality of product is there, but not without compromising in certain ways only a regular local would recognize (e.g. apparent balance [or lack thereof] in ratio of bread to meat, upcharges, etc… just not quite the same culinary touch and attention to detail). It would seem the pretense of being a multi-site franchise, the expansion, things of that nature… have contributed to giving off more of a boxed up, generic, corporate impression (versus homegrown or local). That’s honestly what I miss about Sammich now, and literally how it seems to have translated on the plate. Best to the progress of the franchise and its owners, that assuming it can maintain the kind of true deli integrity – across the board – that it’s had in the past.

Not the cheapest, not the biggest, not the fastest but… One of the best sandwiches you can get in southern oregon! We were the first order of the day, lots of employees running around, sandwich took 20 minutes for them to make. These are finger licking sandwiches so have clean hands.

Sandwiches are delicious and very well sized! Might seem pricey but they give you a lot, if you have a smaller appetite you will have 2 meals! It even came with chips which was a surprise and one of the guys offered us more! The staff was very friendly and so are the rest of the people there. A few things to note: there is a bathroom if you go through the door in the front and walk straight next to the kitchen. The seating is also outdoors which isn’t the best for a hot day but most of the tables are in the shade. Overall a wonderful experience here!

Funky sandwich shop. Tried the pastrami zombie and Italian beef. Each were solid, not spectacular. The rye bread may have been the best part. Potato salad was good, but not worth five bucks good.

This place should have a line stretching from the counter staffed by super friendly people rolling oldie tunes, through the super nice outdoor (and heated) seating area where I ate my outstanding Shortstop (roast beef) sandwich with outstanding slaw on the side, into the parking lot, which isn’t much, and out to the street. It doesn’t, which may be a crying shame for whoever built this culinary shrine to the humble sandwich, but I ordered and was eating within about 5 minutes. Will definitely return next time I am in Ashland. It’s a total gem of a place. Go.

Delicious – we shared a veggie Melanzane sandwich and a side of the zombie slaw. The staff was friendly and welcoming – and most importantly really proud of the food they are making. Nice outside dining area.

It’s been over two years since I had the pastrami sandwich and I’m still thinking about it. Had no idea pastrami could have such good taste or texture. Praying one day they get a Denver location
