We went on Saturday to try the fufu and egusi soup. While we were there, they recommended the cassava leaves.

I’ve been here 3 times before this loved it all those time and this was the worst. I orders cassava leaf and fufu and an extra side of fufu totaling $29. No palm oil in sight. After moving the meat that I specified that I only wanted a little of this was all the cassava leaf in the dish. The fufu was fine but $29?!? I’m confused. This wasn’t even enough cassava for the one serving of fufu. I’ll take my $30 and make my own next time.

I drove 30minutes to get to this place and read reviews before ordering. I ordered the palm and pepper soups with fufu for the price it wasn’t worth it at all. I literally got two pieces of meat in the palm soup that’s crazy and I know everything is expensive but this was unacceptable presentation is everything to me. My mom also ordered the fried fish platter large, she only received half of the fish its bottom fin part and it looked like a baby fish $50 down the drain. Glad we ordered from the seafood place next door from there but honestly if you want good quality African food go to Philly. The young lady that took my order was very polite and sweet the other one looked unpleasant.

The service was great. Just a little dissapointed with the egusi, the meat for the turkey and chicken was very tough and i had a hard time trying to get it off the bones. the flavor was delicious though.

AMAZING!! Beyond excited to have access to African food locally. Ordered the Pepper soup and Achieke. The spices and flavor were out of this world! The portion size PERFECT. The atmosphere clean! The customer service TOP Notch! The pepper soup had dungeoness claws, totally unexpected and beautifully spiced, i literally wanted to put the bowl to mouth and drink it and the fufu soft and tender a perfect swallow.
