Grand slam!! I love this place. Second time here traveling through this part of the state. This isn’t your typical sandwich or sub shop. Sammies has tons of things from wraps to subs to sandwiches (what they call dags, which is short for Dagwood from the Blondie comic strip).

Wow! We were super super impressed with the food at Sammies. My wife had a Gyro pita, and I had The Santa Cruz. Both were made to order. The gyro meat was hot and fresh, and the pita was absolutely amazing—warm, fluffy, and tasty. The Santa Cruz was super flavorful.

We drive about 35 min to get there. It is worth every minute. The food is fresh and delicious. Everyone is greeted as they walk in the door and the employees make you feel like family. Since we moved to Tennessee it is the only place we found that knows how to make a good sandwich. I also highly recommend their potato soup in the bread bowl.

Creative menu with lots of different options to choose from! I’m from California, so I had to get “The Santa Monica” hahaha. It was turkey, ham, and this tasty salsa in between two freshed toasted buns. The food was so good, I didn’t have a chance to take a picture of the food!!!
