WIN. Brought here by a friend of mine from The Country Network – Claimed it was some of the best barbeque in town. I can now clearly agree… the brisket was divine. I had the fatty slices and was in Heaven. Bark was flavorful, meat was moist and full of flavor behavior… sliced thicker too. I enjoyed every morsel. The grilled jalapeños were tasty as well. I’m upset they were already out of the ribs; but it was the special of the day and it they were even 1/2 as good as the brisket – I can understand why they went so quickly! Meanwhile, the staff is fun, friendly (and gorgeous). Clean and well managed. Highly recommended.

Our first time in was fantastic! The food was so good, we shared the turkey and brisket. Beans and Okra were fabulous. We will be back!

Only complaint is the servers spent too much time chatting with people at the bar. Our food sat under the warmer on the pickup window about 7 minutes. Thankfully they were friendly and had good service otherwise. The food was excellent and the place clean.

My husband and I ate there often. Brisket sandwiches, onion rings, ice cold long necks. In the parking lot most cased! Still to this day, the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten. We’re in AL now but would come back for this place alone. So good to see you’re still going strong.

I grew up eating at Sammie’s. It’s always been really good. It now has a new owner. The sausage, brisket and ribs are all very good. I was always a fan of the O-Rings and the chopped beef sandwich. While they are good now, they are nothing like the old Sammies. But I highly recommend eating here.

Nice spot for meat eaters that enjoys a quiet area. They don’t have any vegetarian options. Their sides are good but wouldn’t suggest the onion rings. Reasonable prices for today’s economy. Nice for family with kids and meeting casually for a first date. There is a bar area for beer drinkers mostly. Overall it’s okay to enjoy a lunch or find a place to eat with kids on a budget. ENJOY!

The food wasn’t bad, but I ordered sliced and received what seemed to be pulled meat. The mac and cheese was amazing though! I’m not gunna cross them out yet because I drive by everyday and have wanted to try them, I’ll give them another chance eventually.

Sliced brisket was firm, tender with a good amount of smoke. Pork ribs were sturdy but still fall off the bone. Potato Salad was a little heavy on the mustard but the Mac n’ Cheese was better than I hoped for. Service was fair and love that drinks are served in a large glass.

I’m first timer there and I was thoroughly impressed from the little gal that waited on us to the restrooms to the food. I had a turkey sandwich and there was some kind of onion that they brought and it was the most sweetest onion I’d ever ate in my life everything was great I have nothing but good to say about this place and we’ll be going back.

Come here after golf. The coldest beer around this area of town. The slice beef sandwich is wonderful. Did I mention they have COLD beer?
