Our 1st time at Sammy’s. We ordered a Large $18 appetizer of calamari. Said it was Flash Fried on menu. It got to the table and was burned. Tasted like burned breading and nothing else. I told our server Celina that it was burned and we were not satisfied. She asked if we wanted a fresh order? Our meals were coming at that point. The service was spotty at best. Saw multiple staff eating with utensils and without at the drink station and then just go serve customers. Hygiene is Suspect at best. Had to ask for a drink refill 45 minutes in to meal. Service was blah.

Ordered fried green beans, a beef tip pizza? A salad with awesome sliced tuna and beef ravioli dish… Everything was great and it was around 60 dollars not including the tip. The waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was chill. I would highly recommend and will be coming back…I just would have liked to get a little more tuna with the salad. It was great but sliced very thin. Definitely good portions without phasing the wallet

We tried this place for the first time tonight and we were blown away. They made a mistake on the order and more than made up for it. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered pizza, lasagna, veal parmigiana, and some desserts. All of it was excellent and big portions. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon and this is our new go-to place for Italian!

Had a luncheon after a funeral. We estimated 75 people and guess what we had exactly 75 people. We had two servers and one was very rude. I mean MAD rude. Service was poor. Food was good. I sent an email about what happened because at the time we had just buried my father in law and I couldn’t address it before leaving as we had to go back to the funeral home. I never got a response to my email. Reply to comment: yes I am sure. The owner himself booked the luncheon. The restaurant was closed we used the back room. Booked in Dec.

Outstand flavor and I’m picky on this stuff. I should add that the sauce is more on the sweet side and go with something other then the pizza or you will be missing out. Lastly, these plates are ment to be shared so order different things.

Last night our office met here for a holiday dinner. Our server was excellent. She was attentive while giving our group the space we needed to talk and celebrate. The food was excellent (as always). Seven guests all with different entrees. Everyone was delighted with their dinner. The highlight of the evening was the desserts. The dessert menu had so many options. We all ordered something different and sampled each others. No one left hungry. Portion sizes were generous (including dessert). We all left with lunch for tomorrow and a smile on our face from such a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Having grown up in Italy, I was hoping for something which resembles food from back home. I was let down. The calamari was floating in liquid, therefore, it was soggy. The arancini seemed to have been fried in oil which hadn’t been change in some time. I would not recommend it.

As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a staff member. You are then seated. You are then greeted by your server whom introduces her/him self. They take extremely good care of you. The food is always hot and very good. The server checks back quite often and is very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a warm and friendly atmosphere along with great food.
