Seen the billboard on 43 advertising a lunch Buffet at Sammy’s .Pizza in Winona. So I decided to try today Friday 7/28.. All I can say it was Excellent. From Pizza, Chicken, pasta, several different salads. Dessert. Was around $13.00 with water to drink. The Buffet was constantly restocked. Also is within walking distance of the Winona 7 movie theater and plenty of free parking Leavee park right next store. Thanks for the great lunch Sammy’s.

Square-cut pizzas, of course! Sammy’s is on our must-do list of places to get to when visiting Winona. It’s our historical meet-up place. The owner always stop to have a laugh with our family, I’m not sure if she really believes that my aunt has escaped from prison in order to get a pizza, or if she just plays along with our silliness. The pizzas are thin and crispy. The sausage balls are captured on top of the pizza with gooey melted cheese, served lava-hot from the oven.

Went for Buffet with my partner and realizes that staff shortage and I feel bad that there were only one person working at this place during lunch hour on 11/7 the lady that does prepare, cook, cleaning, etc I would have rate 5 if it is normal business but I had to rate 4 due lack of staff shortage and give more duties than expect, buffet is great, good choices on salad, pasta, pizza, but there is no dessert of course, I enjoyed their food. Definitely will come back soon this is my first time and I’m from twin cities area 🙂
