I don’t remember if I’ve done a review for this place so I’m going to do it again. This place has been a family “secret” for 25 years. I’ve lived in New York City so I’ve tasted the best of the best pizza and I can say this is the best pizza still. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed, the food is top notch and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Sammy’s Pizza to anyone. If you want some cheap garbage pizza domino’s is near. For a good family dinner date head here.

The place is pretty relaxed for a good drink and great food. The bartenders are really nice. They give you the wifi password which is definitely a plus. I like to sit here and do my college work and have a beer and just relax. No one yells or is rude. There are plenty of older people here and mature people so the atmosphere is cool calm and collected. I like it here.

I’ve heard people rave about this place, so decided to give it a try. A bit disappointing. On the plus side, the flavors were good, excellent blend of sauce and toppings, and it arrived quickly. On the negative: wasn’t cooked long enough, so very watery under the cheese (from the onions and peppers, I’m guessing), and for the price for a medium from this place, I could get 2 large pizzas from Dominos down the street. It was an adventure, but unlikely to try again.

The pizza is 5 stars absolutely fantastic. If you like chewy cheese that really has texture and bite. You know that cheese is quality and 100 percent real. The sauce is full of flavor. The crust is thin and crisp, also slightly chewy, the texture is divine. The pizza has just the right amount of authentic rich food grease. It’s just satisfyingly excellent. The customer service is extremely lackluster, apathetic and bordering on downright rude. I cannot in good conscience give them five stars due to that unfortunately. It’s best to get take-out and overlook the snubs, the pizza is worth it. Bear in mind this pizza is not cheap I have always spent about $15.00 per pizza. Cheers.
