This is the place every traveler is looking for. It’s an amazing home cooking Diner with great food and southern hospitality. We had pancakes that were big and fluffy, biscuits and gravy that were creamy, an omelet that was perfect, hashbrowns that covered the plate, and bacon and eggs that were just like home. Not expensive even though it was just great food and all my five kiddos were satisfied. There’s no reason to go anywhere else for breakfast if you’re in the area. The locals love it, plus the owner even came out to introduce herself and made us feel at home. Definitely a gem of a place.

Cool little place! My family and i were camping at yogi bear, and decided to grab a quick bite here. Its probably the closest decent restaurant you’ll find. When we arrived we found the parking to be a organized a little haphazardly, but not a big deal. A young lady greeted us warmly when we walked in and we were allowed to pick any table or booth we wanted which i really appreciate. We were quickly greeted by our server and recieved our menus. The first thing i noticed is how affordable everything is on the menu. Classic American diner fare is what you can expect. We recieved our drinks quickly, and our food much faster than i anticipated. Everything was hot and seasoned. During our meal the cook/chef/owner…not really sure who came to check on us, which i really appreciate that they care. Everyone in our family left happy, would definitely recommend and will be back. Good job Sam’s Diner!

I wouldn’t know anything about this place. We have lived in Brandon going on 5 yrs. and we have tried to eat there many times but they are closed by the time we arrive until this last time. The “open” sign was on and we were so glad. We parked, got my walker out, made our way in just to be told that they were closed but actually it was just a few minutes before the closing time. I understand they are tired and want to go home but they lost a customer. It’s ok, moving on.

We were at the park for a few days. So I seen it and said that’s where I want to eat. To me it’s a little old diner that you don’t see anymore we loved it. We will be stopping by on our way back though. Keep up the good work.

The service was good. No problem there. But the restaurant was very dirty. Food was not good; edible but not great. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut and was filthy! We will not go back here.

Stopping through town for breakfast. The food was amazing, pancakes were huge. Definitely a little southern town. Really sweet girls! Glad we got to experience it. Also the price was really good too! If we ever come back through we will be sure to stop again.
