This was a busy college game day morning. Food was good and hot. It did take awhile to initially take our order. But the only real drawback is the waitress never came back once after dropping off the food. After someone else dropped our check off and we were about to leave she then came to check on us. Run away from this restaurant! If I could give zero stars for service, I would. The server was extremely rude and did not care for a family member having an allergy, and when questioned about if her food contained the allergen, she threw the roll bag at me to let me read it. We waited about an hour for food (1 server and I’m guessing 1 cook), and the food was not worth it AT ALL. The only reason it got 2 stars for food was that the fried chicken did taste home-made and okay, but once again, it was not something I would come back for.

The breakfast food was mediocre. The meatloaf was dry and tasted awful. The gravy and mashed potatoes were nearly cold. The mac and cheese was stale (like it was cooked a few days ago. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what you get. 2 eggs and bacon should not be over 5 dollars.

The food was amazing, me and my fiancé came to Charlottesville for the weekend and we found a true gem. Customer service was fantastic and the food was home cooked with much love a patience. We came back for dinner that evening and they were closed. Google stated that they closed at 10
