This place is where the locals go. I know because the waitress’ know everyone’s name. I don’t want to give this a good review because I don’t want it to get filled up so I can’t get a seat, but this is the best breakfast I’ve had in Myrtle. The prices are very good, the service is exceptional, and the food is actually cooked by Sam. It’s soo good! If you like country ham this is the place for you.

Small, probably a local breakfast restaurant. Food was good. I got the western omlete with toast & home fries it was decent. Husband got the pancakes, fried eggs & crispy bacon. He enjoyed his meal. My oldest got the French toast & bacon. He enjoyed his meal. My little guy ordered blueberries pancakes. He thought the blueberries would be inside the pancakes. It was not nor was it fresh blueberries on top. It was caned or something similar on top. My boys said the bathroom was not clean.

We decided to try this place for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Not very busy, seated right away. The waitresses decided to continue their conversation instead of assist us with getting a high chair for my son or take out drink order. We finally ordered, the food was OK. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. The price was high for what was received. Also, the restaurant did not appear or feel clean. The grits were really good though!

Very dirty and the one lady was rude and complaining about her job. I don’t know how this place got an A from DHEC, the kitchen area looked worse than the dining area. I would never recommend Sam’s Place to anyone, you might get sick from their food. The part I circled in blue, that’s black mold!

First time eating here. Got breakfast take-out for 3 people. The food was great. Everything was fresh and hot. Real eggs!! The lady that rang me up was very nice. Definitely will be eating here again.

Simple and effective. All of our food was delicious and very affordable especially for the beach. Somewhat of a hidden gem and glad we stopped in. We’re in North Myrtle Beach quite often and definitely will be back!
