I am loving the food in this place, I love that it is always hot and everything is very clean. Crispy fries, grilled fish and shrimp poboy’s super delicious and highly recommend. Good prices and calm atmosphere! I just wish they didn’t put a lot of ice in the drinks because for the price they charge they give very little. (The price is separate from the food)

Dem po boys for life!!! Great selection here too more than just sandwiches! Had some good gumbo and a great mix pasta or shrimp and crayfish! Love the spices and flavors of this place, too! Will gladly return to this place for some great chow!

Ordered a number 30 which is 3 fish and 3 shrimp. Got 3 fish and zero shrimp. Fish were over cooked. Mac n cheese was perfect. Not worth the money. Very disappointed and won’t be back.

I visited Sam’s Southern Eatery while traveling to LaPlace for a work event, and it was just the taste I was looking for. The price was great, and the good was even better. I enjoyed the chicken gizzards meal which could feed 3 people as many gizzards they gave me lol. Although it could use a tab bit more seasoning, the okra was amazing and the fried green tomatoes were a chef’s kiss.
