Sam’s Southern Eatery is always delicious! This was our first visit to this location, but it was just as delicious as the other locations we have visited. The jumbo shrimp were huge! They were delicious! They don’t put much money into the atmosphere, but that’s ok with us. We are there for the food, and it’s delicious!

This place is very casual and seemed to be geared toward to-go orders as all meals were served in styrofoam boxes. It’s not really fast, but the food was inexpensive and pretty good. The catfish po boy, beans and rice, and mac and cheese were very good, but the shrimp po boy was pretty bland. Overall, a good place for casual eating, just know that it is neither fancy nor fast.
