Good food, good service quickly seved a great burger and fries, romaine lettuce! We all got Southern Single burger ( good sized burger) and we all were very happy with it. Older building just off the hwy clean inside.

Driving through we stopped. The Wait staff was nice. They were packed and we had a way to get our food but it was not an unbearable amount of time. The food was fresh and hot. My catfish, was very crispy with a nice flavor. I did find it to be a little mushy on the inside which is why I dropped my rating one star. The chicken strips, we’re fantastic.

No stars, walked in and was told to sit anywhere. Most of the seats are ripped in the booths, I kept watching the loose paneling open and close separating the kitchen and dining room. We sat at 2 tables and both were sticky. We left after we waited 20 minutes and never got menus or even had a drink order. The waitress did tell us she would be with us in a minute but never saw her again. We’ve ate at other Sam’s Southern Eaterys and enjoyed it. Very disappointed.

Best fish and best seafood value in the River Valley, and that’s saying something. I love fish but hate the mud veins that most places leave in their catfish. Sam’s has clean, white, thick fillets. I’m not sure that it’s actually catfish and I don’t really care; it’s delicious.
