Here for business at hospital, from San Antonio, TX. With co-workers tried this place for a quick lunch and close to hospital. Place was few ppl, servers was very friendly and attentive. Many choices to pick, they have more fish, shrimp and fish and wings, went with a Burger. I was impressed with the taste, was actually pretty good, Fries was fresh. Area was clean, its not a fancy place, just an great place for food (I think). Would try fish/shrimp next time

Dirty carpet kinda makes it hard to eat and makes one wonder what the kitchen looks like. They use some kind of pine cleaner spray on EVERYTHING that overpowers the restaurant of a cheap pine scent. I took a group of people in for lunch and the census was the same on the smell of the building smelling like pine while you’re trying to eat, it’s too much! Also, they agreed that the inside needs some TLC, time to shampoo the carpets. The fish is good and consistent always fresh. They will not let you have okra as one of your sides even though it’s literally pictured with fish and fries on the front of the menu. Not even for an upcharge! Okra is only available as an appetizer, kinda weird..

This was a great place to go! I hadn’t heard of it, but we went for my mom’s birthday this evening and it was phenomenal! The portions are way more than I expected which is great! There is nothing worse than spending money and leaving hungry. That is certainly not the case here! If you like seafood, go to sams!

Good fried catfish place in old Huddle building. Enjoyed the whole fried catfish. Hushpuppies are so-so. Coleslaw is good. Place is busy, but service is fast and good. Recommended.
