So glad I met Mohammed in town today and he told me about opening this location! The best seafood plates I have had in Jacksonville in YEARS. Great prices for the amount of food served too! We had 2 number 31 plates and took a whole to go box home after eating all we could there! Please!!! Go try it out! Not just seafood on the menu, so there is something for everyone! I plan on trying a different plate each time I go back. Hubby said we should come weekly! The picture is the LEFTOVERS!

Went for family dinner last night and this place was amazing! The food was fabulous and the service was wonderful! We had the family portion for the fish and shrimp with 4 sides. The portion was so big that we had plenty to take home for another meal! The older gentleman was so kind he checked on us after we already had begun eating in case we needed anything extra. And the pretty young lady that took our order was great too she came by when we were done eating and got us to-go plates. If you are thinking of trying this place, hurry up and go!! You won’t be disappointed!!

We tried Sam’s for the 1st time yesterday for dinner and it was excellent! We will definitely be back soon. We had the 3 piece fish dinner with catfish for $11.99, and it come with 2 sides. It was only $30 for 2 people including drinks. The fish and fries were piping hot and the red beans & rice was very tasty! Even the sweet tea was great. The dining room was very clean and they staff was very friendly!

We ate lunch here a few minutes ago and it was excellent. I had #24 fish/oyster/shrimp combo with cole slaw and hush puppies. My wife had #15 chicken/fish combo with red beans and fries. First of all, you get your money’s worth in the amount of food you get. Everything was definitely cooked fresh and perfectly done. All of the food was delicious! The shrimp are huge! The oysters were perfectly fried. The chicken strips were also fried well and still juicy. Perfect hush puppies too and those fries were crispy and so good. The cole slaw was creamy and exactly how its supposed to be. My only little thing I’ll say that isn’t 100% positive is I wish the fish had a bit more seasoning on it or was catfish instead of white fish. It was still good but would be perfect with just a bit more flavor.

Ate inside first time and food, service and staff were absolutely excellent. Mr Mohammed was so kind and made certain orders were correct. However, 2nd time we ordered takeout, both orders were burned; plus No hush puppies or cocktail and tartar sauce were in our orders. Salmon was so black and so dry unable to eat and shrimp were also over cooked. Mr Mohammed was so nice we hate to complain but we will not order takeout again.

We had Jumbo Shrimp and it was fried to perfection.Huge! Salmon and grilled shrimp tasted better than the one I had at a fancy restaurant in Orlando. The fries and green beans were perfectly seasoned to. Less sodium. Portions are generous! Our new favorite eatery! Delicious food for sure! Try it yourself!
