Great shrimp (big)! I’ve had the chicken tenders, swai fried fish and the fried shrimp with fries and everything is fantastic. Even the dipping sauces were better than other fast food places. Recommended especially since you CAN eat in the dining area whereas you can’t at the chicken spot across the street (ahem). Go here anyway.

We ordered a variety of different food. Everything tasted fresh, crispy, and hot! If you’re on Main Street looking for a nice clean and affordable spot to eat, you have to try this place. The jumbo shrimp are ridiculously huge, real jumbo! You have to try the homemade “Sam’s sauce” excellent .The employees are always smiling and friendly too. I will be going back again real soon.

The Lord is my Shepherd…Oh My Goodness! While on vacation my bf was in charge of the food and he is from Alabama so he is a thicker one who knows good food Lol… shhhh don’t tell him! When I say I will drive over 200 miles to go back there!! Yesss Lawd . See I knew it was going to be good because while we were waiting in the car, the lady came to the car with our food and said “Have a blessed day” I knew then the food was about to take me to church! I ordered 2 tilapia fish and shrimp with the red beans and rice ( which I need to know whose mama was in the kitchen it tasted like they were cooked with smoked neck bones. I need to give that lady a hug . I had corn too! When I say we were quiet in that hotel room while eating Lol. I think I might love my man a little more for choosing this place Lol. If you go there based on my review tell them Nicole from Google reviews sent ya! I promise you won’t be disappointed! I’m coming back!

I had to stop by here because I was curious to know what kind of atmosphere this restaurant brought to the neighborhood. This place is worth the hype and it’s a real gem. The name jumbo shrimpblives up to their name. The presentation was wonderful, customer service is magnificent, glad to see more diversity in the neighborhood, food is fresh, it smells wonderful, they have reasonable prices, and the portions are superb. Pictures doesn’t do the food justice as well as the flavors. I turned my plate over some trying to eat it lol. We had the po boy shrimp and chicken salad. We will definitely be back to try more food..

Went there this afternoon for the Jumbo shrimp with fried okra & slaw. It was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were huge & the batter was just enough!! Some of the best fried okra i have had. The slaw was just the way I like it. My new favorite seafood stop. Will definitely be back!

Food was fresh, hot, and very delicious and we went 30 minutes before closing so we didn’t know what to expect. Fish was fried to perfection. Shrimps were huge! Portions were very large, so we all had leftovers. Customer service was great! Very happy we tried this place.

OMG OMG my daughter took me to this place because she had a few weeks ago bought me a tray of Fried Green Tomatoes which I am absolutely in love with and that besides okra so I told her I wanted some more tomatoes and she took me to this little restaurant called Sam’s and I must say I was totally blown away I was oh my goodness all I can say is I recommend this restaurant to anyone the food was absolutely amazed and I definitely will be going by and I definitely would tell anyone this is a nice place to have lunch or to grab a dinner I don’t know if they served breakfast so we’ll have to wait and see but anything else I’m on board
