Never tried a breakfast sandwich with a hamburger bun, but I definitely enjoyed it. Had the egg and cheese with no mayo. I’d rather go here than ANY fast food or alot of dine in fast breakfast spots. The decor is history of Sam and so on, worth checking out. Great location and super clean. The staff always warms my heart.

One of the last bastions of traditional greek-owned hot dog “stands” in Birmingham. Anybody with any sense was so happy Mr. Sam’s family was able to move and expand the operation after his passing and their location eviction. This place is a local treasure. For the full experience, get The “Specials” and a Grapico. I see some other reviews on here that make me want to give somebody a good talking to. They deserve your repeat business.

My neighbor wanted hot dogs for lunch. We agreed if he drove, I would pick up the lunch tab. I ordered 4 hot dogs – to be specific – I ordered 4 slaw dogs with beef sauce poured on them, 2 bags of chips, and 2 fountain drinks. The total amount with tax, but before tip on my credit card – $31.88. Right at $16 bucks for 2 hot dogs , a bag of chips and a drink!

Been here a few times for lunch and a dozen times for breakfast. Lunch Hot Dogs are ok. Not the best hot dogs I have tried. Everything is just ok. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are probably my favorite item here. Service is really good.
