This is a new restaurant in Ripley and is still working out the kinks, or at least we are hoping they are working on the kinks. I’ll preface this review with this: the food is really good. Swung by on a Friday evening and they were busy but there wasn’t a wait. We were seated promptly and our server took our drink order and upon his return our food order; that’s where service pretty much ended. A friend of mine and I ordered the chicken hibachi meal with cheese wontons to start and a “Ripley Roll”. The roll came out first and my chicken meal followed not too long after. The hibachi meal didn’t come with any of the usual side sauces and I had to flag down a food runner to get some yum yum sauce. It wasn’t until we were done that my wontons came out; honestly I’d forgotten I’d ordered them. We then sat there for a good half hour before I finally saw our server at a table behind us and caught his eye to ask for the bill and boxes. My request for a sauce to go never came and the hostess gave me my sauce when I made a second request on our way out. Although our server was nice, he never checked on us not once after taking our food order. I understand the wontons coming out late would have been a kitchen issue. The table in front of us all got their food at different times and the father didn’t get his at all. The rest of his family was finished when he told the waiter to just take his off the bill and he didn’t want it. So as stated above, they have several kinks to work out.

Very friendly, very clean and the food is really, really good!! The dragon roll gets my vote! We had steak and scallops and steak and Shrimp as well. The soup was good, not too hot when came, everything was ready to eat! We’ll go again.

Oh my GOSH! Amazing place. The staff is incredible! The prebussing was on point. Refills were always given before the glass was half empty. Any and all things asked for were given immediately. The full staff, from front to back were SO friendly. The presentation of food!? WOW! Had fun with our waiter! Thanks for running a great resturaunt!

I was so excited when I saw that a Hibachi restaurant was opening near my house. And this place lived up to my expectations! The atmosphere is great! I love what they’ve done to the place. It just gives off a nice, romantic vibe. And the staff was very friendly and quick to get our food to us (we were there near closing, about 8:20). And to those saying the wait times are long will do well to remember that this is a freshly opened business and they’ve been swamped by large groups every day. So, of course, it may take longer to get your food. Be respectful and mindful. And the food was great! The best cheese wontons I have tasted so far! The miso soup was very light and salty. The Ninja Roll was great! It was loaded with toppings, and the taste was just perfect! The soft shell crab was so soft and rich. And the fried rice was perfect with a little yum yum sauce! Overall, this place was just great! I highly recommend trying it out!

Gods is always fresh, prepared to order. Staff is a little scattered, but such is to be expected as a groove is found in a new place. The staff is by far some of the friendliest in the area. Clean, relaxed environment but still classy enough for a date night or special occasion.
