We have been coming here for 6+ years and have never experienced what we experienced today. The seaweed in the rolls were unbearably chewy. When we asked the waitress if there was anything that could be done, we were told, “it’s the same, there’s nothing we can do.” This was the first time in 6+ years that we couldn’t/didn’t finish our food.

I placed an online order and I’m only leaving this review to help other people ordering online. The hand rolls are like sushi burritos, they’re not sliced rolls. It’s the first option for “rolls” when ordering online and it’s incredibly deceiving. I did take them back and purchased actual sushi rolls, the texture of the hand roll was strange and inconvenient but the sushi rolls were redemption enough for me to come back.

I’ve been going to Samurai for a couple of years now, and every time we’ve dined here it’s been a wonderful experience. The food is prepared expertly and tastes delicious. The waitress here is super friendly and always has great recommendations. We love the atmosphere and the restaurant is always in immaculate condition. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant and if you give it a try, I bet it’ll be yours too!

Friendly staff! However when we went tonight there was only one cook & we waited almost an hr on our food. None the less the food was very tasty. Just be prepared for a wait if you go any time soon! Our waitress tried hard to make us happy during this time she took good care of us during the wait!

I have order from this place for lunch over 15 times. I order the California Spicy rolls & they are always so good until today. I believe the cucumber was bad or they used onion instead. I called the restaurant and was told they used the same thing and there was nothing they could do about it. That wasn’t very helpful at all. I know how it should taste and wanted to let them know they may have some bad cucumbers but didn’t seem to care. The manger just repeated himself saying again there was nothing he could do and they use the same thing. Today is my last time ordering.

For Japanese food in Oklahoma, the quality of the food was fantastic! The sashimi was fatty, thick, and it tasted great. We were surprised it lived up to our expectations. We ordered some food that I don’t remember the names of, but they were equally as delicious!
