Samurai Sushi and Hibachi is a delightful restaurant located between Costco and the mall. It is a very welcoming family-friendly environment that was quite busy on the Friday I went there. The sushi and Maki that I ordered arrived very quickly and were presented beautifully. In addition to its presentation, I can confidently share that the food was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for Japanese hibachi and/or sushi in this area, I recommend samurai sushi and hibachi is the place to go.

Went on a Wednesday to celebrate my son’s birthday. My daughter is 14 and doesn’t each much, they wouldn’t let her order from the kids meal.. then saw there was a Sushi special for $25. The server was going g to charge each person 25 even though we ordered hibachi also, wouldn’t let us share the sushi. Won’t be back.

Our kids love hibachi and were really wanting to go to a “knife flipping place” last Saturday. It was short notice and all of our favorite hibachi restaurants had long waits. Samurai could get us right in so we thought we’d give it a try. The first thing we noticed waking in was a very strong smell of sulfur and rotten cooking oil. The environment was dirty and poorly maintained. Once seated in the mostly empty hibachi room a super creepy server greeted us. He gave us a really scary and uncomfortable vibe. Definitely not a good dude. He took our drink order and, subsequently, our food order. We were scared to order any sushi just because of the general uncleanness of the restaurant. So we stuck with the cooked hibachi The hibachi chef then arrived and proceeded to make our food. He was really nice and good and did a fine job of preparing our meal. The ingredients used were, however, not good. You could tell they used the cheapest quality meats that they could find. The vegetables were not fresh and the fried rice was very bland. After dinner, I went into the bathroom which was very dirty. The floor in there was so greasy and urine covered that I nearly slipped and fell down. I definitely do not recommend this place. Please endure the wait and a better restaurant and save yourself the poor experience.

Our dinner plans took us to Samurai Hibachi! We had a party of 6 which allowed us to have the chef to ourselves. We got Javier as our chef. He was very friendly and funny. Everyone loved him. The food was extraordinary. Seemed that everyone in our part orders something different. We ordered seafood for two! I highly recommend it. Also I recommend getting extra fried rice. It was probably the best surprise of the night. Absolutely amazing. We recommend asking for Javier as well as getting the seafood hibachi for two.

Food prices have gone up, and service has gone WAAAYYY down. We used to be very well taken care of. Especially when a FORCED gratuity is in place. I normally tip better then their 20% but I will find somewhere else to patronize.
