Established in 1988.
Our story begins in the early 1970’s, taking place in a little town called Marsala, Italy. It was there that a young Biagio met his future wife, Pietronilla. They then set abroad and moved to Brooklyn, NY. In 1982, Biagio was offered an opportunity to run a pizzeria called Picnic Pizza, located at the old Indian Hill mall in Pomona. Biagio and Pietronilla packed up the family and moved to Southern California. In 1987, Biagio decided that it was the perfect time to act on his hopes to open up his very own pizzeria. In 1988, this hope became a reality! He found the perfect spot, right off of 7th and Mountain in south Upland, where you can still find it flourishing to this day. Never disappoints!! Great service and food is even better!! A Stromboli and Supmoni is a great dinner. But if you like pizza New York style won’t find a better place in the IE.

This place is a must. Great food, reasonable prices. The NY pizza is great but if you want something exceptional, order the Stromboli. It’s unbelievably good!

This place is a cool little gem that we found on our way to Big Bear. It’s conveniently located right off the 210. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the food was good overall. The pizza is definitely NY style, but as a former New Yorker, it could use a better sauce. However, it was pretty good. The calzone was really good and stuffed with meatballs. The Rainbow Italian Ice was delicious and so glad that they have them as they’re hard to find in LA! Next time I’ll definitely try their Cannoli’s!

This is truly a nice little treasure in Upland with 2 locations to serve you the original off 7th and mountain in upland and the newest location in the colonies shopping center. Upon entry you will be greated by the smell of fresh pizza in a no frills spot. The menu is fairly large with pizza, sandwiches and pasta dishes, with an array of daily specials with reasonable prices. We had the wings which were plump and juicy and cooked perfectly only which they were tossed in the sauce instead of it being served on the side. The real winner of the show however is the pizza which is new york style and very thin it was delicious with many mouth watering toppings definitly worth a try for the pizza connoisseur.

Pizza came out very hot, which is a great thing. The only problem was upon simply lifting a slice, an avalanche of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms collapsed down upon the poor box. I was left either biting bear bread or had to grasp the toppings and put it back on. Either way, no amount of napkins cleansed my hands.

This is my very first day in California and I was told about this place. I met the owner while walking in. I immediately enjoyed his personality and his stories. The food was absolutely amazing as well. Definitely looking forward to trying more of the menu while I’m here!

This was my first time eating here. I got a Sicilian style pizza. The pizza was about an inch thick, the crust was burned, hard and crunchy. I couldn’t finish eating it because it was tearing up the roof of my mouth. The sausage was also bland on the pizza and the sauce wasn’t that great. Very disappointing especially for the price I paid .
