San Jose is my favorite Mexican restaurant, and possibly favorite restaurant in general. The food is amazingly delicious, way more flavor than most Mexican restaurants. Fresh and delicious with huge portions. Chips and salsa are fantastic, as well as the margaritas. One of the few places that makes margaritas both delicious and strong. Finally, the service is unmatched. The servers are always running around the restaurant taking care of everyone as fast as they possibly can. Sometimes you have to wait a bit and sometimes they are understaffed (but what restaurant isn’t these days), but I’ve never waited more than probably 5-10 minutes for food, so the wait is always worth it and they make up for it once you sit down at the table. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Nice, enjoyed being at this restaurant. Food was good, but I was with a group of 23 guys so my order wasn’t as hot as I’d like. They somehow managed to get most all of our orders out at roughly the same time, so kudos to them for that. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely eat here again, and if it goes as I suspect it will I’ll upgrade their rating happily.

The food was excellent. Had a nacho starter to share, and it was packed! A chicken quesadilla was much bigger than I thought it would be and delicious. The service was a bit slow at the start and the restaurant didn’t seem to busy. But once the food came out everything was great.

The service was slow, and the amount of times we had to ask for things was kinda of ridiculous. The food was great. It is always good. The servers are always friendly. I believe they may have had a hectic day and were just run down. So I won’t score it low. The food makes up for most of the issues.

I got a raspberry margarita…. So good! And I did the pick three with Chile relleno, Verde chicken enchilada and a beef taco. Food is great and nice portion. Also I liked that there was outside seating. I will be back.

Food was delicious. Vanessa our server was fantastic and funny. The ‘manager’ was a jerk. As the hostess is taking us to our table, he tells us we have to go to bar until our whole party is there. Our table sits empty for 10 minutes, then we have to move with our drinks to a half booth/3 chairs downstairs for our party of 6. I was with two seniors who have trouble walking and asked if we could have the open table with chairs on the main floor. Unaccomodating ‘manager’ snaps NO, that’s for a party of 8. That table was empty for the entire time we were there. Even though the food and Vanessa were outstanding, I will take my business to a place where management is respectful and accomodating to the special needs of their customers.
