It all began in the Spring of 2000, when 5 entrepreneurial brothers, with the encouragement of their friends and family, opened the first San Jose’s Mexican Restaurant in Central Florida.
Zenovio, Jose Luis, Armando, Victor, and Miguel had a simple vision in mind. To not just open a restaurant serving delicious, made-from-scratch Mexican dishes at everyday prices, but a place where guests of all ages could gather together to experience the unique flavors, along with the art and culture of Mexico – all in a comfortable, casual setting.

Never disappoints! This is one of those places that you go to hoping for the best and leaving amazed. The chips are perfect. Warm and nicely salted. The salsa is excellent, and recently, I learned they have a house hot salsa; also fantastic and packs a nice punch. I can’t say enough about the SJ California Burrito; it is so good! 10/10 recommend.

Usually pretty good, but tonight we ordered takeout and asked in both of our meals for no beans double rice and we got what felt like less than I side of rice. Be careful when ordering take out they’ll try to skimp your order.

The staff are very nice and the service was great. Very family run feeling, and a great local place. The food is more mild than other places and if that is what you like it is great. I thought the rice is good but the beans were a bit bland. Good selection on the menu, and a really good bar.

Very good! The best Mexican Restaurant around! Service was great and food came out fast. Steak in fajitas was well done, but tasted good. Order a small cheese queso to go with your chips and salsa! The horchata is really good as well! Save room for dessert!
