The idea and concept is a great draw, love the theme of the whole place. The staff from my short interaction was good no real complaints. All were helpful and courteous. What was i have to say a disappointment was the price for the quality ratio. Spend close to 15$ per drink that are sizes of shots. The food was okay but could be better.

We ordered $60.00 worth of food all was good excerpt the chicken sliders they are smaller than a White Castle burger you only get 2 for 14.00 totally wrong for $14.00 sanctuary should give at least 4 to 6 .. or take off menu or give a real slider size of chicken sandwich.

Billed as Spanish tapas , but does not do Spanish food justice. Only thing that I liked was the salad but they did not have their house dressing so we asked for olive oil – Spanish restaurant did not have olive oil ! Drinks and food were so-so and that is saying a lot. We asked for the Mahi Mahi ceviche , there was barely any fish and tasted like eating a cucumber Melon salad , not even a fish taste. Mussels and shrimp came with cold soft bread , we asked for toasted bread , never came even though waitress checked , then a 2 inch piece of toasted bread came at the same time as check. I can understand sometimes kitchen can get overwhelmed but restaurant was not even busy. Someone needs to turn to ship around before it sinks.

The food here was so disappointing. Cocktail was fine. Server was nice, patio was nice. My partner’s brussel sprouts were literally greyish-tan…. Not a trace of green. I have never seen a vegetable be so disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone, purely based on the food.

Great food with several vegetarian options. Vegan options are limited, but there are some. Drinks are fantastic. And as someone who has worked at a restaurant, I found their service commendable. Will visit again!

A friend and I tried this restaurant last week before a show at the FOX and loved all of our choices! They have a large alcohol menu and large tapas menu. We tried the Red Sangria and if we had time could have drank a pitcher of this it was so good! Then we shared Bacon-wrapped dates, Wicked Good Shrimp, Devil Bites, Cabrales Cigars, Seared Squash Blossoms, and Vaca Frita with Chimichurri. All of them were delicious, but our favorites were the bacon-wrapped dates, devil bites, and the Vava Frita. We went on a Tuesday night around 6 and we were the only customers for a little while. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because after we got our last plate, no one came by again to check if we needed anything. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re in the area and especially if you’re going to a show at the FOX because this place is less than 10 mins away!

Sanctuaria is a tapas style restaurant serving delicious food. We got the squash blossoms, mussels, shrimp and plantains chips with dip.

I can honestly say I’ve never left a restaurant hungry until I came here. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. After we were seated, we waited 20 min for menus…it seemed like the patrons on the patio listening to live music got preferential treatment. We had to ask for a server and then the bartender had to serve us. We ordered 4 tapas and 2 cocktails in 2 hours and felt forced out as the establishment closed at 9. Definitely wanted to order more tapas and dessert but no one would come check on us and see if we wanted to order more. The staff serving the patio definitely saw us with empty water and plates but didn’t seem to alert our bartender/server. Could’ve been a staffing issue, could’ve been the holiday weekend but definitely a very poor experience. On the bright side, food was pretty good overall.

I was super bummed about my dining experience here. My husband and I are new parents and had scheduled a much needed night out to try Sanctuaria. Unfortunately the service was not great and neither was the food or drinks. We made reservations to sit outside but were sat inside. Not ideal, but no biggie. It was starting to get chilly anyway. Then, we ordered drinks and a first round of food. My husband got his drink and I never got mine. Our waitress also didn’t come back. After 20 minutes, we flagged down someone else to check on my drink. Then several minutes later they came back saying that my drink couldn’t be made because they were out of some of the ingredients. So they suggested an espresso martini, which also took awhile to make and it was honestly the worst espresso martini I’ve had. It basically just tasted like vodka. Not to mention it was like $15. Then, our next round of food came out burnt. We sent it back and it was our understanding that it would be remade. Turns out they also ran out of ingredients for this dish as well. Although the waitress did say that the cook assumed we just didn’t want it anymore. All this to say, it just felt like our time and attendance was not valued. We went into the evening planning on staying for quite awhile, ordering plenty of food and drinks but after this whole experience, we asked for the check as soon as possible and left. And we STILL spent over $80. Overall, we were super disappointed and will probably not go back.

Been here for dinner and was happy. Came here for lunch and was disappointed. Most of our food was tasteless. When my wife said that a certain dish needed salt. My jaw dropped. Never in our 14 years together has she ever said that in regards to a meal. The plantain small plate came with a bean dip and some sort of cilantro dip. The bean dip had absolutely no flavor at all. The cilantro dip had an excessive amount of oil. All i could taste was the oil and that was it. The waffle i would say was delicious. The menu looks amazingly delicious but was a let down. A definite not for sure.
