Nicole was our waitress. She was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We liked her vibe. Ordered the fish and chips basket and OMG..Three very nice pieces and so delicious . I could only eat one. Thought I would order a side salad not thinking again and it was huge. Very fresh..and very good.

Stopped here because the traffic to Honeymoon Island was ridiculous! The staff were SO nice and accommodating of me and my doggo. They even made him some grilled chicken at a very reasonable price. Everyone was also very helpful in finding an alternative dog-friendly beach to go to. Thank you!

Another dive bar with decent service and mediocre food. My burger was not good… well done outside medium in the middle (like a frozen patty cooked too fast) . But it’s exactly what you would expect if you saw it online first . We had a great time and the service was decent. Chicken tenders were great. We will come back.

If you are craving grouper, this place will not disappoint! I have never had a grouper dish served less than perfect! On a salad, in a sandwich,on a platter, grilled or blackened, always perfectly cooked. So soft and delicious! Sometimes it’s hot because, hello Florida! Went here on Monday, July 31st to take a nice drive and have a lunch. I selected Sandbar because of its location to Dunedin Causeway, open on Monday and reviews that were excellent. We three agreed that the beer was cold, the food was delicious and service, including Nicole, were exceptional. Fried mushrooms, grouper and chicken made for a great outing.

Nice place for reasonable food and drink. The French Dip had fresh meat and fresh onion straws. The bread was also good. The sausage sandwich was just as expected, felt like one from a carnival which is perfect. Tots are tots and worked for a side item. Service was good and all the employees seems pleasant. The seating could be limited if they are busy and it is mostly outdoor seating so those hot days go good with one of their drinks or a beer.

Used to be one of our favorite places, went last night and got the fish n chips and salad. I’m pretty sure the Cod was actually Swai. The salad was very small, very tough lettuce and missing the cucumber and no one told us they were out of them. The draft beer was bordering on almost cold but more warm than cold. The whole place stunk badly of marijuana and when we went to pay the bill the cook was stoned out of his mind and still getting high.
