We’ve been eating here off and on for over 10 years, always excellent food, drinks and service. Just found out that they serve breakfast! Ate there yesterday and the food was fantastic, and the service was fast and everyone was very friendly! Met the owners, who seem very passionate about their customers. The table-side guacamole is a star!

The food was delicious, however I was put off that they charged for chips & salsa. Especially at how expensive the entrees were. This is the first Mexican restaurant I have ever been to that didn’t give complementary chips and salsa.

I have went here several times during work out here in this area. Honestly, the food is so good it is even worth dealing with the absolutely slow and lousy service even when the bar/restaurant is empty aside from 1-3 parties. In an establishment this large, I’d hate to see what its like when it is bustling and full if that ever happens. Which I’ve never seen more than a handful of people in here at once. I wonder if it has to do with the fact you have to hunt down a service person to get a beer or refill on one.

Lovely atmosphere with fantastic owners! The food is fresh, flavorful and consistent. The staff is fantastically accommodating and attentive which speaks volumes! They make the guacamole to your taste at the table which was a feeling point in and of itself. As someone who has a dairy allergy, their attention to detail and protocol was impressive and reassuring.

We have been coming to this restaurant from time to time since they opened in this location. The food and service has been consistent throughout. But the prices are far higher than comparable competitors. $65 for lunch for two people with an iced tea and a water to drink, it’s just too high. The portions are average or smaller. I ordered a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans inside so the plate used was a side salad small plate with only the chimichanga on it, cut in half. I will say that the taste of the food has been consistent throughout. There is just too many other competitors that are doing a better job. We won’t be going back.

Third time at this restaurant and have been impressed, which is very surprising every time I’ve been, I’ve never known a place that gets better with every time you go . The service is amazing, the food phenomenal, the entire experience you must go to fully appreciate. I almost hate leaving this review because I don’t want to spoil my favorite spot in Portland!!
