The place was so adorable and cozy with a very sweet lady as the cashier. She double checks that you have everything you need! It all makes you feel a sort of nostalgia, like you’re right at home. It has pride potted plants and a beautiful mural. Just a warning that the coffee is extremely strong with a milkshake texture and will leave you on a high and shaking if you’re not careful. My friend got the pork ban mi which was delicious and I got their chocolate bread.

I have been here a couple of times for the Vietnamese coffee and donuts but first time having one of the banh mi sandwiches. Loved it! Got the grilled pork, the flavors were amazing and the bread they use is perfect for the sandwich. If it wasn’t 100 degrees outside (no inside seating in case you have not been there yet) it would have been ideal. But they do a good job of putting up shade where they can and have fans moving to air to help out. Great food and the people who work there are always so nice.

1st time to visit. Super friendly employees and cute decor. All seating is outdoors so the hot Texas heat made it tough to get comfortable while eating our lunch. Pricing is such that our meal for 4 with appetizers and drinks quickly ran the tab to over $100 for lunch. The Nem Sausage Nuggets ($12.75) were tasty and good for sharing. The Fried Eggrolls ($9.75) were standard and a tad pricey. Recommend skipping these. The Bahn Mi sandwiches were delicious. Pay attention to the add-ons as a fried egg ($2.75) and fish sauce ($2.50) will run that bill up fast. The Coco Nam Sua Da ($6.25) was average though it was described and marketed beautifully. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and were glad to check this spot out. It’s always a good thing to support passionate small business owners and their dreams!

I’ve been to chimlanh twice now, and I knew I needed to leave a review. The staff here is so unbelievably kind and welcoming, and their customer service skills are incredible. On top of that their donuts and drinks are amazing and the presentation is beautiful. Anytime I have someone come visit in Dallas I will be taking them here.

Prepare your taste buds for a flavor revolution with the innovative Banh Mi sandwiches offered at this Vietnamese eatery. The fusion of traditional ingredients with creative twists will leave you craving for more. And don’t forget to pair your sandwich with their must-try coconut coffee—a tantalizing beverage that perfectly balances the creamy richness of coconut with the invigorating kick of coffee.

I came here near closing time and am glad they were willing to still serve me! The last item available they had was the pork sausage banh mi, which was absolutely delicious! I usually don’t drink coffee and decided to try their Hanoichata, the flavor was unique and enjoyable.

The chicken banh mi was really good, as was the strawberry hibiscus limeade (got it w/o gummies). A tad bit pricey, but the sandwich is a good size.

The sandwiches were a bit different than your traditional banh mi that you would get at a place like quoc bao but they were still so good! The egg rolls were surprisingly great and may have been my favorite thing there. Definitely get an order of those.
