Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Sandy Point. Ingredients in our dishes were very good. Dishes would have been better if with a lighter touch or amount of ingredients in each dish, i.e., more pleasing with less. Excellent selection of spirits particularly bourbon.

Great location, great atmosphere – really great place. My wife and I went for lunch – ordered the Cubano and the chicken wrap; the food was good, but took nearly an hour to get after ordering it when we were two of only five customers in the whole restaurant, so we had to take it to go. The manager DID, however, make it right by comping us 50% off the entrees, which was a nice gesture and very much appreciated.

Come for the atmosphere, but that’s about it. Outdoor seating and live music are nice but food is underwhelming and pricey plus service is spotty at best. Came on a Saturday night, our last night of vacation because they took reservations and we didn’t feel like waiting someplace else. That’s my mistake. Service was super slow. Took over an hour from when we were sat to get our entrees. Server wasn’t very attentive. I had to flag him down. He also didn’t let us know what they were out of until we were ordering. Food was just ok for the table. Mine was sad—ordered a soup that came cold and with none of the toppings as promised. Will be waiting for a table elsewhere next time.

We love this restaurant but unfortunately, last night was not the best experience. Service was very friendly but I wish they would have told us there was a big party in back and it might be a while. Food took an hour and 20 minutes. Salad was $20. I know prices have gone up everywhere but seems steep. Atmosphere very loud indoors and we were entertaining elderly neighbors. Tough spot to do so

We went to Sandy Point Beach House to celebrate our anniversary . Nick K was our server , he was outstanding. He was super efficient, our food and drinks were great. We did have reservations, they were busy but we didn’t have to wait for anything. I highly recommend eating there.

Stopped here driving by for some lunch and saw it. Decided to try it. Took about 25 min to get a drinks to our table after greeted. Food took about a hour to get out. The club was dry, Lettuce was welted. Wasn’t great. The server was overwhelmed with tables inside and out and didn’t have time to check in on anyone. Wasn’t a great experience.

Their has been a concerted effort to step up after the COVID years at Sandy Pointe, and it shows in the food, service and atmosphere. We just had lunch here today on the deck. Delicious fish tacos with seared tuna (fish choice changes with availability) and mango salsa, white fish dip was beautifully presented and a salad with fresh greens. We loved our French rose and local beer. Prices are reasonable and anyone can find something for their budget; salads, entrees and burgers. Atmosphere with lake breeze, outdoor deck perfect!
