They had outside seating so we were able to get a table and bring our dog with us. Excellent portions and Theresa was an excellent server. I had the tuna sandwich with fries and my wife had the jumbo quiche which she said was really good but maybe a little overcooked as the top was hard and crusty.

This place is Amazing!! Sandy’s new chef and menu are top notch and had a wonderful time! I can’t wait to come back for dinner! If you go for lunch I would try the short rib grilled cheese or if you are visiting Maine try the lobster grilled cheese or New England Clam Chowder! Service was great and friendly and if you enjoy cocktails during brunch you must try a iced blue hill mocha.

If you’re looking for a small cafe experience along the Maine coast, steer clear of this one. There are other spots that will provide what you’re looking for at a better price. Food was bland, service needs drastic improvement, and overall atmosphere felt a bit stuffy and unwelcoming. There are other great cafes in the area, try those first before you hit up this one. Sandy’s isn’t it.

Lovely place to have dinner. The calamari a la spagos with pepperoncini, garlic and pepperoni was perfection–perfectly fried, tender, and so flavorful, unlike anything I’ve had before. Sandy and Bill are very kind, generous hosts, and I look forward to returning soon.
