I first had the pleasure of trying their kimchi burrito right after they opened, and have been constantly craving it since. Do yourself a favor and get one, preferably now. I’ve since exposed myself to the wonderful world of korean corn dogs, and now regret my whole life up to that point. Korean corn dogs are like your childhood favorite on steroids, and then rolled in sugar.

We got the pork rice bowl and the kimchi burrito and loved both. Definitely going back soon. Like a korean street food place.

So good!!!!! I’ve been wanting to try a Korean corndog for a while. It was just perfect. I ended up getting a cheese dog. The cheese was melty and creamy. The corn dog was dipped in sugar and then had ketchup, mustard, and Korean mayonnaise.

Came in to grab a Korean corndog, breading was thick and it was ok. The owner came over and got mad at me for using “too many napkins.” Paid $7 for a corndog and was basically yelled at in public about using too many napkins? He then mentioned “who is going to pay for these extra napkins you are using.” Not worth the hassle of coming back if the owner is going to complain about a paying customer’s napkin usage.

Walked in the first thing was the smell… o my goodness the smell of spices, melting cheese, and a hint of sweetness.

If you are asking for good, fast service go elsewhere. Ordered a simple item and many customers who came after were served before me. When I asked for my order again they started it. Waited about 25 minutes in a near empty store when I came in.

The Korean hot dog was so good! Tater tots on the outside and melted cheese on the inside. I thought there would be meat, due to being a “hot dog”, but I guess not. Still very good. It’s basically a mix between a corn dog and a cheese stick. The Mama’s Kimchi Burrito was a little more interesting, jam packed with cabbage, carrots, and other vegetables. There wasn’t much meat. It was interesting, but still an alright taste!

We had a fun experience trying the Sanfran Burrito. It is located inside the Chinese market and doesn’t have an exterior entrance. Being inside the Chinese market itself is a fun, unique experience with different restaurants and shops. This seems to be a busy market so parking can be a challenge. My husband and I shared a California burrito ($11.75), and cheese and potato hotdog ($5.75). It was plenty of food for the two of us. Service was average; not rude, but not friendly. The hot dog was interesting. I would describe it as a cheese stick deep fried inside a donut. We had ours topped with mustard and sugar (My husband doesn’t like ketchup). A different flavor combination for me that was surprisingly not off putting. The burrito was good. A little spicy. I felt like the salsa didn’t compliment the flavors of the burrito so while we tried it we left it off for most of the meal. Soda was $2.50 for a small cup and refills cost $1. The food was good, but not worth a return trip though I’d like to try the kimchi burrito.

This was such a fun place to try! We loved our food and the service was excellent! We had a California Burrito, 2 combo hot dogs, and 2 flavors of Tayaki. The custard and Oreo was our favorite! They came out to see if we enjoyed our selections too.

We accidentally stumbled upon this place when we stopped by a different shop to get some boba. As we were walking around Chinatown and sipping on our boba, I smelled something amazing. My nose took us to Sanfran Burrito N Fryz where we found some delicious burritos and “corndogs.”
