Lovely tradiotional Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious & really loved the tea. Usually I am not a fan, but this one was so good.

Do you ever walk into a Japanese restaurant and see a lot of Japanese people eating there? That’s usually considered a great sign that the food is authentic. This is the case for Sankyu. It is very good. Their sushi is simple but done correctly. Their ramen is the best in a 10 mile radius. Try the rest of their menu for authentic Japanese cuisine too.

Outstanding experience. House sake is the best I’ve tasted. Good Japanese beer selection. Delicious food. We’ve had a variety of appetizers; sushi; ramen and dessert. Everything was great. Service is also fantastic. Will be back

The food was great and the staff was really friendly. It was interesting to try the chef’s special sashimi plate. The tofu was refreshing. The pork cheek was packed with flavor. My roommate loved the soba noodles. My favorite was the taiyaki. Next time, I will have to try their whiskey. I wouldn’t bring a picky eater here. Just beware if they are busy because service can get really slow. I’d come back.here for sure.

This has been my go to place whenever I want Sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is only offered for dinner. It’s simplified version but can’t complain for the price tag.

Had shisamo, nato which are great appetizers, fresh and delicious. The shishamo seemed almost half of it was all eggs. The nato has the nicest nutty aroma. For my majn meal I had the Sashimi Special which had chuto, otoro, salmon, 6 small ami ebi, whelp, tai and hamachi. All are excellent and scrumptious! Otoro melts in your mouth! Wished they fried the shrimp heads and served them to me. Rice did not come as complimentary with the Sashimi Special, I believe it should. But I’m happy to have those selections during this pandemic era. And as can be expected in a time like this, the service is mediocre but the eats are top drawer.

Always a nice place to get sake Cha, zaru soba, and beef tongue. The sake list needs to be updated because some of the things listed on their list is out of stock almost every time we go there. Great quality fish for nigiri (: Love their appetizer menu. Would recommend.
