I ordered a spicy tuna roll and a dynamite roll something like that… The spicy tuna was looking really gross not fresh I didn’t eat it. And the other roll that I got was also not that fresh… But it was better than the spicy tuna. I’m not sure how you can mess up spicy tuna roll. And yes, it is too expensive for food that’s already prepped and not freshly made. I don’t know if they make rolls and then they give them out for days.. But that’s how my food was. A waste of 30 something dollars. Don’t order sushi and maybe you’ll be fine but I didn’t try the other items. I won’t be ever coming back.

We visited today and waited close to an hour for our food to be served. To make things worse all of the food we ordered came to our table cold and dry . We were the only people in the business , how is it possible to take that long to serve food . Please do not waste your time and come here . Food is overpriced and cold , your better off eating at Tokyo grill on Avalon instead of eating here.

This place used to be good. I was just there and ordered the tempura and California roll with the Oriental Salad. When I received it, I mentioned that the tempura was less than usual. The assistant manager (Reynaldo) said it was the same size as before. It only had 3 shrimp which I believe was 4 before. They were soggy. The California lacked the avocado. Just a smudge and some didn’t have any. The salad was lacking the mandarin oranges and wonton. For $20+ this is the worse I’ve seen. Will never be back and will share with friends of this disgusting place that has gone wrong!

This is my new favorite SanSai. Been a big fan for about a decade. Friendly people, clean, quick service and perfect tempura. Edgar knows that menu too, wow. Pictures are my order, Tempura Plate (Shrimp and Veggies) with white rice, Sumi and Oriental salad sides. The white rice was dreamy it was so well prepared. The layout is a little strange, I’d have done it a bit different, enter from the patio or far left door, (no reflection on the food or service).
