We were so disappointed!! As we came into Santa Rosa we saw a billboard advertising the Santa Fe Grille and that they had breakfast. It was 9:30 AM when we arrived at an empty parking lot. The big sign on the road said “We’re Open Really!!” But, Lo and behold, the doors were locked, the Open sign was unlit and they were Closed. Really!! And it was on a Wednesday morning… August 10, 2022.in fact, the other two restaurants in town were also closed. We had to get Convenience Store food. Such a bummer!!

Hubby and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The chicken fried steak breakfast plate was delicious! The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection. My egg sandwich on wheat was tasty and not salty. Try this place!

Whether you live in Santa Rosa, New Mexico or just passing through, if you want a simple homemade New Mexican meal from scratch, the ‘Santa Fe Grille’ is the place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was a little to simple for me, but overall it was good. Even though our waitress was swamped overseeing tables that were filled to capacity, she was still professional and courteous.

Stopped in here on a long road trip tired of fast food saw that their menu online mentioned BLT however it was not on the menu but an exceptional employee named Miss Erica stepped in and made sure I got my BLT sandwich she goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy and meets their needs staff was very friendly place was clean I would highly recommend

The salsa is excellent, just enough heat. The meal arrived slightly on the cold side. This prevented me from rating it a star higher. The presentation was good and the sauce is made from local hatch chilis.

We were 6 people, when the first person was served, the last person was served more than 10 minutes later. The dishes were all too fatty, the shrimps were undercooked, the rice had been in the pan so long that it was mushy and the whole thing was too salty.
