You would think in the year 2023 a restaurant would display that they use LARD as a main ingredient in almost every item in the menu. This place is still stuck in the 1900s. They even use it in the salsa they give you when you sit down.

We had the steak Chimi and Tamale. Both were really delicious. Great flavor and not soaked in cheese. Margaritas met my approval for flavor. Service was very attentive and quick. We were there on a Sunday night so not as busy as usual.

The staff was very friendly. The chips and salsa were good as was the tamale. The shredded beef in the burrito was excellent. It had so much flavor. I would love to take home a container of it. Unfortunately I did not get a margarita as I had to budget what was ordered by what cash I had on hand. They charge extra to use a credit or debit card so I paid in cash. I would go back just for the shredded beef, but I would have to plan ahead so I could try a margarita.
