Food and service were spectacular. It was both me and my girlfriends first time, and we felt welcomed as if we were regulars from the second we arrived til when we left. Food was fresh, hot, delicious and good portions. We were even gifted a complimentary taco for taco tuesday. Although the ribs, brisket and pulled pork were all amazing, the taco ended up being my girlfriends favorite. We certainly will be back, and highly recommend you give them a try/taste!

This was the backup plan for my hubby’s birthday dinner. Small place and there were 6 of us needing a table inside since it was cold! We were able to push 3 tables together and it worked fine.

I came here for lunch and ordered a pulled pork sandwich with onion rings and a root beer. The service was spectacular! So were the onion rings, close to the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could say the same about the sandwich. The pork wasn’t pulled, it was chopped, and it was obviously reheated dry on the flat grill as the meat was parched and burnt. I wasn’t given a choice of sauces and the BBQ sauce served on the side was too sweet for me. The roll was ho hum. I’ll give this place another chance based on the onion rings and the stellar reviews here.

This is some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. Usually brisket ends up being dry, but not at this place. The pork ribs were excellent, as was the slaw; next time we need to try the greens. The service was very friendly and professional.

I go out of my way to visit the Santa Maria BBQ location on Golden West street as they have the best Ribs and Fruit Cobbler in town. The Customer Service is Superior, and the Staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend visiting this location.

Small but quaint spot, and there is an outdoor seating area also . Excellent ambience and music. Draft beers on tap. Coca Cola products for soda. The BBQ is OUTSTANDING!!! Most importantly: the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is served with coleslaw on the side, so it may be put on the sandwich. I am from the South Eastern United States (SC & Central FL) and I know BBQ. Best BBQ in Orange County, CA. Mike is a solid pit master.

Was going to give a 1 or 2 star based on price and portion sizes, but man it tastes good. Well at least the brisket and the rice were super delicious. The mac was average. I was upset that a brisket plate (7 oz) with 2 sides and no drink or bread is 22.85+ tax. Sheesh very high, and the sides and sauces were super small portions. Honestly not worth the money for me because I eat a lot would need 2 plates to be full, but if you got it like that, go for it because the brisket, rice, and sauce taste phenomenal. I probably won’t go back unless someone else is buying (; Honestly though check out the pictures that sauce was untouched, had like two licks worth. Again very delicious but way too pricy for small portions. It’s supposed to be bbq.
