Food was alright, cheese dip tasted nice, but was as thin as water. The waiters were nice but it took 45 minutes to get our food, and when we got it one of our orders was completely wrong!! And they didn’t even give us silverware, not only that but the food all tasted like fish, probably due to cooking with similar pans, when father ordered the tamales, he was met by a GIANT LUMP of “salad” on top with taqitos all over it, the taqitos did not taste good, in fact they tasted like shrimp and one had a toothpick in the middle! My father pulled it out of his mouth and me and my friends jaws dropped. My chicken fajitas were good but portions all over the place, there was almost no chicken in there at all for 15 dollars! We also got a chorizo taco which also was bland, everything was cooked in the same fryer and it all tasted like fish. Horrible service, reminder this is the same place that had reports of cockroaches in food which I usually chalk up is fake but this is ridiculous, I don’t even write bad reviews like that but this place wowed me and lowered the bar. We came at 6:50 and left at 8:10 note almost and hour of that was waiting for food and the check. I would also like to add this place was previously Santa Rosa but under this new name the food is way worse than what Santa Rosa used to have. 100% do not recommend. 1/10. We spent: $23 dollars not including whatever that mountain of lettuce that tamale was, and make sure to check your food for things you can choke on when they still taste like S##T. The first time in my life I have ever seen my father send something back, or even say something sucked this bad, and we try every Mexican restaurant we see. We tipped 5 dollars.

My waitress definitely needs more training. She played more than checked on the customers. She was acting weird because I was alone and asked to be at a booth. The food was bland. My last experience was the same.

I go here very often. As a happy plate lover I must say they definitely have the freshest and best flavor in Southaven this far that I’ve tried. And I’ve tried a lot of different Mexican restaurants here and not all of their food taste fresh or only give you a tad bit of cheese. Here, I’ve never not had a plate that didn’t feel made out of love. Don’t get me started on their daiquiris. Literally one of the best I’ve had. It’s not to icy but not to liquidy at the same time. I think they make them with tequila ima not sure but once I stand up I definitely feel good after 1. Strawberry & Banana oh my goodness is a must. The customer service is always great. Food has always came out in a timely manner. They have one server most times I go and he’s awesome along with the 2 women who get your drinks and chips. Sitting outside on their patio after 5 is also very beautiful. Overall I love this place and it’s service so I felt like it was only right to come and leave them this review. If you guys try it out I hope you enjoy

Service was great – both the girl that brings the chips and our waiter were very attentive and nice, however, the meat portions on some of our dishes were ridiculous. Barely 4 oz of meat in one of their bigger plates (I weigh my food at home and know what that looks like)… Sister#1’s salad was served with moldy bell peppers (see photo) and sister#2’s enchiladas were hard on the edges (clearly the tortillas were old). Hardly any flavor on the dishes, and to make matters worse, I got sick within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant. Also, I ordered hot water, which was served in a cup/mug, which had dirty residue on the rim. Had to send that back.

It was clean, otherwise it would be 1 star. The food was not good, it made our stomachs hurt, and the Cokes we got were too carbonated. We will not go back here, not impressed.

Good food, large portions, reasonably priced. The normal salsa sucks, not a lot of flavor and rather bland. The spicey salsa from the back is wonderful though. I recommend requesting that.

Not good at all . The cheese dip was thin , the chicken fajitas or should I say veggie fajitas had enough chicken for only two tortillas . And the prices are wrong . Ordered a lime margarita pitcher on the menu is says 18.49 . It was 19.99 on receipt and it was the worst margarita I had and it hard to mess that up . Don’t go you will regret it !!!

I tried the chorizo taco for the first time. It was mediocre. The food was nice and hot and I was served quick. Although the host wasn’t too friendly and couldve smiled more but he did keep check of what I needed.
