The Mexican restaurant is decent overall: the food is not too bad, and the restaurant itself is not too bad either. However, one major drawback is that there is no AC, making it quite uncomfortable on hot days. Due to this, I would hesitate to recommend eating here during warmer weather.

I went with my kids and some family the other night and we loved it (we go often) The lady that was at the register was so sweet and nice. I think her name is Melissa I believe she’s new, she wasn’t there a few months back. Anyways I had my kids with me (yes kids can be annoying at times and very difficult to make up their mind when it comes to eating) well she was very patient with them the whole time we were there. The cook didn’t seem too happy he rolled his eyes a few times when we were ordering like if he didn’t want to cook for us or something (It was the short guy, not the taller skiny guy) I had some tacos and they were very good, salsas and food didn’t disappoint. I totally recommend the street tacos they are amazing.

Santiago’s food is food is great meals are good. Papas taco hardshell tacos fire. Bean burrito better then most places. Best Mexican in banning. I recently moved from Fontana where tacos are on every corner and these keep up.

Went to get something to eat and I was not disappointed!! Food was amazing!!! The new lady with glasses was so nice and very patient even tho she had so much going on and she was doing everything at once on her own, I couldn’t make up my mind on what to order while she was taking an order on the phone, she had people in line behind me, she had like 3 cars ready to order in the drive thru and a tablet kept ringing and she managed to take care of everyone without losing it lol (all while she did everything by herself, well the cook was.. just cooking) she was very nice and polite the whole time even tho I could see she was starting to stress out. Definitely recommend this place and most definitely will be going back.

Pulled in here for breakfast on our way through from Arizona. Cashier would not give my husband the restroom key until she took my order and I paid, since the restroom is for customers only. We did order and wasted $22 on disgusting food. My eggs and sausage were so greasy and full of gristle I couldn’t eat it. My husband’s huevos ranchero looked good but tasted blah. Dry reheated rice and canned beans. I should’ve packed our breakfast!

I moved to Banning a year and a half ago. I didn’t realize this spot was right next to my house. It’s tucked away a bit…but a Gem!! I knew it was gonna be good just by the salsa bar alone. I go mainly in the evening. The night staff is awesome. I met Melissa (the server) my first time here and I told her I would be back all the time. I only miss one or two days out of the week. The food is fresh. The people are real. Service is great. Hit it when the night shift works!! They take care of ya!! ***** 5stars!!!

This place is GREAT!!! You can throw a rock and hit a taco shop anywhere in California but…this is the place you wanna hit. I go in the evening because the service is the best. Staff are friendly, food is authentic, and the Salsa Bar is tippy top!! The night staff are cool enough to go through the menu with you and help you on your decisions cause everything is bomb!! BANNING STRONG. This is a community staple.
