Pensacola is a seafood town, but what about pizza? I found santinos off the street while touring, since I am a fan of pizza I stopped by. Located in a strip mall center, the outside looks ordinary with the name. I went inside, the aroma of pizza ingredients filled your lungs. The menu is simple and ordering eas fast. The female employee was nice but seem uninterested in working.

This was our first time trying Santino’s even though they have several locations. We tried their version of a supreme pizza and half a “muffaletta” grinder. We ordered at the counter and sat at a booth to wait. The seating was tight for some reason even though we are both average size people. We hope that maybe the booths just got shifted somehow. They do have plenty of tables for seating as well.

I eat pizza all over the great state of Florida and SE U.S while traveling for work and let me just say……..WOW!!!! what a dough!!! QUALITY cheese and pepperoni toppings. I’m not gonna lie, I was expecting more of a traditional style NY pizza(I love) but what I got was even better. The dough is a little thicker under the toppings, firm and almost buttery flakey at the same time?? The crust tastes amazing and it’s evident that they are using some quality ingredients and making fresh dough daily. There is grease on the cardboard but the pizza itself is not all greased out like most NY style but enough to satisfy that craving. My mind has been blown on so many levels. So glad I tried this place out!! top 5 pizza places in Florida in my opinion

To me it is the best pizza in the city! Fast service! Always lots of very fresh ingredients and toppings! The salad and garlic bread is also very good, better than from other pizza places! I always get take out but the restaurant seating seems nice.

We ordered the pick two deal, the buffalo chicken grinder and cheesy bread. I was pleasantly surprised with the side salad, it was delicious with dark greens and lots of cheese! The chicken on the pizza and grinder was low quality with lots of gristle.
