The quality of ingredients and recipes seem good. Just poor execution. And way way overpriced.

Food was good but average. I’ve worked in the food service for 38 years as a business owner/chef and noticed a lot of missed details. Such as stale croutons in my salad. My wife’s crab cakes entree not being hot when served. We needed to send it back to reheat, only to return with the centers still cold among other things .. such as loud kitchen music that interrupted our dining experience. Definitely over priced for the experience. The breakfast buffet was not as described on the website. Pancakes where undercooked, potatoes and bacon while good where cold. Scrambled eggs again cold but nice flavor. Any other beverages other then hot tea or coffee where an extra charge which was misrepresented on web site. Yogurt bar while good was limited. Muffins where tasteless. No other bread or pastry choices where available. Nothing on this limited buffet was named.

Visited this gem on a last minute date night away from the kids! Sat outside. Not only was the view gorgeous but all the plates were amazing. Service was wonderful.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Our waitress, Alex, was top notch and she had awesome recommendations for us. Every single thing we ate was so fresh and prepared with so much care. The scallop dish really shined, but the Moroccan shrimp and steak were also amazing. Do yourself a favor and get the potatoes. We also shared the pea shoot salad and crab bisque which were divine.

It has been a while since I have rated a new restaurant.. but this one was worth dusting off my keys for. The drive up is through a beautiful but subdued section of woods that leaves completely unprepared for the amazing view that opens up before you as you pull into the *Inn* (should potentially be classified as a resort IMO) that houses this delightful establishment. The surprises didn’t stop there. The staff was amazingly friendly, and even knew who we where from our reservation alone (#notjustareservation).

Excellent location with astonishing view of the lake. Outdoor seating was perfect for summer nights. Attentive servers, innovative cocktails, and tasty appetisers and main dishes. Other than a weirdly bouncy tiramisu, everything was great.

Great service and excellent food. Scallop was masterfully done. The crab chowder was very tasty. Loved the cracker with eggplant dip. Highly recommend the outdoors on a nice day since you’re able to see Seneca lake.

Sapalta has become one of my favorites in the US. It has the friendliest service, a beautiful scenery, top-notch bartender, and the food, oh, the food. Yes, the food! This is a must-go when you’re in the Finger Lakes (Seneca, to be exact). My wife and I were lucky enough to be staying at Plum Point Lodge when we are here so our room was only several feet away. It very romantic with great live music and the lake backdrop.

Had an hour wait for an empty restaurant. Literally two other tables had people at them. Ordered venison rare and it came out well done. After that wait though, we were happy to just eat and leave.
