This was the first of what will be many visits to Sapore Prime Italian restaurant. A reservation is highly recommended as this restaurant is set in an intimate setting. The service was great as my group was taken care of by both of the co-owners. Everything was fresh and delicious! From the beef carpaccio appetizer to our steaks cooked exactly as ordered to the creamy Yukon gold mashed potatoes you are sure to leave very full and satisfied. We were lucky enough have saved room for dessert. We enjoyed gelato and raspberry sorbet. My finicky 14-year old really enjoyed the creamy mashed potatoes – she had the audacity to infer that they were tastier than mine! Her favorite was the flavor of her Angus Filet Mignon (with and without the truffle butter). We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. I’ve already added Sapore to our list of regular restaurants!!!

Who knew? That tucked away in a quiet little corner strip mall near Roxborough Park, you can find Italian fine dining? Oh yes, it’s true! Sapore Prime Italian is the name, and if the Roxborough Park community thought this would be their little secret…hahaha, surprise! I have millions of viewers on Google Maps that will make sure that does not happen!

Delicious!!! From the cocktails to each course of the meal, everything was so good! We had the Safe Word and The Empress to drink and both were wonderful. My husband said the Safe Word was one of the best drinks he’s had in a really long time. The calamari and Caesar salad were wonderful, and the dressing was delicious. For our main courses we enjoyed the Bucatini Carbonara, Creamy Malfadine and the Short Ribs. You could not go wrong with any of the dishes. It was nice that the guanciale in the carbonara wasn’t all fat, but a perfect combo of meat and a little fat. We finished our meal with the chocolate torte that had the best tasting macerated raspberries on top. The Affogato was yummy as well. The food is excellent quality and the pastas are homemade. Friendly staff and owners just top it off. We cannot wait to go back!

In lieu of heading downtown, we decided to try the newish restaurant called Sapore Prime Italian in Roxborough for my birthday dinner. Overall, I would say that this restaurant provides a cozy and intimate dining experience with a great blend of Italian and steakhouse cuisine. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and Daphne, the owner provided friendly and attentive check ins throughout our evening.

This was the first time I have ever ate a streak without sauce- they don’t provide A-1 but I didn’t even need it!! My steak was sooo good and flavorful !! tierra massu cheesecake is rich, heavy, full of chocolate – you have to share it or take it home!!! The ambiance is very nice. The restaurant is small and intimate… almost have to be a part of the other person’s table if you get loud. So it creates an opportunity to talk soft and sweet to your date across the table . Incredible experiences. Not many great places out here in Littleton near the foothills, but this place delivered and shattered all my expectations. Thank you Ashlee, Terrence, and the rest of the team for all your genuine hospitality and an amazing experience. The Diavolo Shrimp was outstanding. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever tasted. I mean where do I start? From the moment we opened the door to go inside the hospitality, service and friendliness was overwhelming 5 ⭐️ alone! The decor and ambience of the restaurant was perfect and they have a great bar selection too! The food was exactly what you would expect from a restaurant like this and 100% lived up to the hype! This is now one of my new favorite restaurants in Littleton / Roxborough, trust me.. you won’t be disappointed!
