Downtown Frederick was in so much need of another Sushi restaurant. I was surprised at how delicious the sushi is. It’s just so hard to find a place with the right rice to fish ratio if you know what I mean. Also, it’s absolutely delicious! The beer/wine/cocktail menu is a plus. Highly recommend!

The fish was good but the rice was a little dry. The atmosphere was nice, service was good. We came 30 minutes before they shutdown and prepare for dinner service which is probably why the rice was off to me (it just didn’t taste fresh). However the food was good enough to eat and I would try it again. I wouldn’t order the Eskimo roll again. For me, radish replacing sushi rice was not a good combination.

My apologies for not having more pictures. This was the first time ever going and I was really focused on the food. IT WAS AMAZING! Spicy Fried Calamari, delicious! (Wish it was crispier) Spicy Shrimp & Tuna (in the picture) One of my new Favorites. Fire Dragon Roll will definitely have again. We also had a bottle of Sake it tasted like orange juice but it was good. I gave this place a 4 star because of a comment the person who welcomed us did. I understand that for a business it’s nice when you are prepared and not getting a table of 10 walking in without notice like we did, but if you didn’t want our business because of that or it wasn’t something you were a fan of there are better ways of saying something and not being rude about it. Our server was awesome! The food was great! It will be a spot we come back to and we’ll call next time.

This restaurant is amazing! My boyfriend and I love coming here. Always great and friendly service and fantastic sushi. We really enjoy getting a variety of the rolls as they have a good range of options. Everyone from the entire staff is very polite and they provide good menu recommendations. If you’re curious about this place, definitely check it out! One of our favorite places in Frederick.

Great restaurant! I can’t eat fish and they have a lot of great options. Try the chicken tempura dinner, it’s really good. They have a very cool robot that helps bring food to the tables. It also entertains younger children. Service is friendly. We have never had a wait but it can get busy. The serving floor is nicely decorated and clean. My one complaint is if you are hoping for a quiet romantic place, this is not the one. Otherwise this place is great.

My daughter and I both ordered the Bulgogi beef bento box, it was excellent. The meat was so flavorful. The tempura was perfect. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was upscale modern zen. Great date night place too! I’ll be going back soon with my husband!

Starting off this review to say this is the BEST sushi i have had in Frederick. Really disappointed that the rest of my review will speak to the worst service I’ve ever had. We had a 7;45 reservation and were seated promptly. Great start. 10 minutes goes by before a waiter approaches us. Everyone else is being taken care of us, so not sure what was going on. Eventually we have our order taken. An hour after we arrive, we get our food at 8:40. They did not give me the correct order. Overall really hoping that they get their staffing issues under control, as the service is awful. Sushi is 5 stars though *shrug*
