Overall good, flavor was pretty bland but they have been in business for 48 years. Maybe this is how Billings residents like Mexican food. Price was good. $14 for a burrito smothered, rice, beans, and a drink. It’s pretty much self service outside of ordering. Sign on the door said they are short staff. My food came out quick during lunch hour. Free chips and hot sauce (not much flavor). The building is pretty run down but I’ll call it “charm”. They have a few free parking spots along the building. I’d go back, if I wasn’t up for searching for a new spot.

I used to really like Sara’s, but we ordered to go today and were very disappointed. The rice wasn’t cooked all the way and was very crunchy. I ordered a barito and ended up getting the contents of the barito in a to go that was sloshed all over and the shells were separate.

Lots of mixed reviews but this place didn’t disappoint me. I would say this is probably top 2 best Mexican food joints in Billings. Building is a little run down but who cares when your belly is full on a great tasting meal. Staff is very nice and they greet you when you walk in. I would recommend this place if your in the mood for Mexican food.

Drove from Hardin to get food. Upon entering there was a closed sign on the window. I asked a man sitting at the counter if they were open and he greeted me with “we only taking to go orders, sorry” I proceeded to look at the menu and asked a few questions. He answers quick and almost annoyed all while on his phone. I said thank you and walked out. I was really looking forward to trying the food since I haven’t had a great food experience while visiting Montana

Ate here for the very first time, different in that they have no servers. Food was bland, had two tacos with rice and beans, rice and beans did not taste good to me and only ate one taco, chicken was dry. Sauces looked very thinned out and not tasty. Will not return.
