My Mediterranean man and I have been waiting for a Mediterranean Restaurant to open in the area so we were extremely excited to see that Sara’s opened in Wappingers Falls. We were not disappointed. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the food was delicious. Fresh, seasoned perfectly and nice sized portions. And the desserts were amazing! Highly recommend trying Sara’s I know we will be back!

Dear residents of Wappingers, Fishkill & Poughkeepsie: Sara’s Mediterranean restaurant is a GEM . I just ordered for pickup through their east to use app for the first time tonight. My order was ready & waiting when I arrived less than 20 minutes later. It broke my heart to see the beautiful, welcoming dining room empty. So much more elegant and inviting than you might expect for a strip mall, sandwiched between The Home Depot & Planet Fitness. Please don’t overlook this beautiful, delicious restaurant let it wither into oblivion. Isn’t this the kind of local business/ethnic cuisine New Yorkers miss about the city?! I haven’t even told you about the food! We ordered a Gyro wrap & a Lamb wrap. So mouthwateringly delectable!!! Generous portions of super flavorful, juicy meat & super fresh veggies wrapped & grilled more like dōner (not pita) with an excellent tzatziki on the side. I am telling you! Please guys, just try it one time. Give Sara’s a chance. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Çok güzel! Really great food, don’t skip the hummus it’s amazing! Owners are super friendly and flexible with the menu to care for any dietary restrictions. The portions are huge. 2 people could easily share one dish, or if you come starving you’ll leave very full and happy. Came with a big group and everyone was very happy

Favorite Mediterranean food in the Hudson Vally we come from New Paltz for the amazing salads raps and dishes. Large hearty portions and very nice environment with amazing very friendly service. We spent the dinner hearing the tables around us praising the amazing food as well ! Would definitely recommend.

Very tasty, no-frills spot. Our table had chicken soup, Shepherd Salad, a gyro wrap, Adana Kebab, and a kids chicken tenders meal. Everything was delicious and fresh. The kid’s meal was REAL CHICKEN! And my kid ate it! I tried one too and they were delicious, not your average freezer section abomination. We split the salad and had plenty leftover to bring home. The wraps were hearty. I hope this place sticks around because we need more variety!
