In the 6 months I’ve been going here the cashier has never understood my order, I’m guessing no English? Always order extra cabbage as that’s exactly what it is but they think it’s called veggies because of one tiny piece of broccoli. Today I order and confirm twice extra cabbage. When it’s made, no extra veggies were put on… then the individual making it said no to more and that I didn’t ask for it… great food with poor service. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

25+ years I’ve been eating here at Sarku Japan @ CTC. Started have the same issue of over charging. Ordered two chicken teriyaki and one vegetable fried rice charged an extra $.50×2 fried rice $1.99×3 Double chicken. I paid $29.79 & I know I over paid @ least $7.29 plus tax and I asked her when checking out what were charges so high…she said $8.29×2 and $4.29 fried rice. Should have been like $20 plus tax and no point did she say she added $8.29 add on charges that wasn’t received. I did mention that wasn’t right but paid with hesitation. Won’t be going back!

Food was great, but yum yum sauce is runny. Still tastes good but very different from other yum yum I’ve had. Not from the area and stopped in for a bite. Would definitely recommend the beef teriyaki with noodles or rice.

Have loved it for years. Went to the mall just for there food. Wish they had a real resturaunt with a drive through. Sadly the last few times we went the food wasn’t the same. Quality went way down and prices keep going up. Hope the food goes back to the way it was soon. Very sad!!!!

I hardly ever go to Charleston, that I don’t make a special trip to the mall to get their food. We have an agreement in our family, if you’re in the area, get some for us too. It’s fresh, always delicious and made to order. I wish there was a location in the Beckley WV area!
