Food is okay wouldn’t eat here again wish I would have looked at the reviews first. The food was nasty me and my fiancé had to stop eating it.

I asked them if they would be bringing out fresh food. And was told no as soon as I walked away. They brought out fresh food. My food did not taste well. And for the price that you paid, they should always be making it fresh instead of they stacking up the chicken on the grill to dry it out…I will never order anything else from them BEWARE OF THE LIARSSSS

I am way too busy for reviews, and likely not many will read this, but i am sure that at least management will take note of the poor service AND even poor quality food. Also charged extra $1 for a watery sauce that isn’t listed anywhere on their menu. Unfriendly staff. Would not plan to come back here again

Worst sarku Japan. Portions were very small, staff very unpleasant. What a shame, normally love the chain. Should have read reviews first.

It seems their portions are getting smaller and smaller by the month . I have many friends who stopped going there because portions kept shrinking . Sorry to see stupid decisions drive people away .

It’s a mall kiosk so I’m not expecting restaurant level service and food. The food is decent, service is quick.

My mother and I asked for 2 beef teriyakis with white rice and a side of dumplings. We wanted something warm, so I asked for 2 hot green teas. The attendant, however, said that I “had” to ask for a cold drink! I was a bit surprised that she assumed I wanted a combo, which I wasn’t asking for, but I went along with it cause I was hungry! Next, I asked her if they had trays and she said no. I got my drinks and 2 teriyakis later on, but the cook said the dumplings weren’t ready. So we had to wait for quite a while to get them. Anyway! I normally don’t like to complain but I seriously think management at Sarku Japan should retrain their employees! First, attendants neither smile nor greet customers when they place orders at the counter. Attendants rush customers to order as if they were cattle! The napkins are hard to pull out of the dispensers. The worse part of it, though, is the food which it doesn’t stand to Japanese standards! That is, the beef in the teriyaki was soggy and barely tasty. Same thing for the vegetables! To add insult to injury we paid $31.81 for a meal that, despite the fact we were tired after doing some shopping, was disappointing! I don’t know if many people are just getting used to bad service and food but I believe that you should get for what you’re paying for, especially when money is not an object! Thus, I think that Sarku Japan should at least have one Japanese manager running the show to keep the standards high because I suspect the employees have no idea about Japanese food or culture! Thanks and really hope that you do something about it soon!

They’re starting to skimp on the meat portions. This is the smallest amount I have gotten in a while when requesting extra chicken. I will not be returning
