I love to eat the chicken teriyaki in Sarku japan. But, now their service is getting worse. They charged just tap water for $1 and the hot sauce is not the real hot sauce such as pepper oil and mixed. The taste is worst.

A decent fast food American Japanese fusion restaurant. I really liked the teriyaki chicken and the fried rice which was perfectly seasoned. Also recommend trying their dumplings.

I ordered a chicken bento with the fried rice option and one vegetable egg roll and a chicken egg roll, no drink. The receipt said “one drink” even though the chicken bento doesn’t come with a drink, you have to order them separately, so they refunded that. My meal was missing both the egg roll and the chicken egg roll and it had steamed rice instead of the fried rice. I give it a 2 star rating and I probably won’t get from them again.

Attempted to call and ask about promotions that were advertised by Sarku and instead had an employee speak to me with more disrespect than I had working as a correctional officer. When I attempted to clarify my question she cut me off and then just hung uo the call. A full 30 seconds of Sarku’s true service I do NOT recommend dealing with a company that shows no regard to the people they service.

Came here on a visit to Northpark, and it’s a solid portion of Japanese food at a solid price. You will not leave hungry; they give lots of rice, my only suggestion is to add more sauce to each bowl considering how much rice you can cover.

While the food was fresh prepared and hot, it all tasted very bland to me and was not served with any soy sauce. Guy at the front counter taking orders was pushing fried rice with every order and was obnoxious. No one in the line could understand him while he barked at you.

The food was better than good. I really enjoyed it and it was hot and fresh. I would recommend it.
