Not what I expected. The place was smoky and smelled like burnt food, which means the ventilation isn’t cleaned regularly. The cook was pulling triple duty, putting rice and veggies into the containers as well as coming around the counter to put the food he just cooked into bags and handing them off to customers, all while the cashier just stood there looking dumb. I asked for shrimp teriyaki (no sauce), white rice & vegetables. I got a mountain of rice with shrimp looking crazy on top. And then when I told the cashier that he didn’t give me my veggies she went back to the food prep area and touched the veggies with her dirty handling money hands. So now I have to find somewhere else to eat because I’m not eating this garbage. Waste of $10. Won’t be back.

Been to this location many times. They raised their prices back in early November for their Chicken Teriyaki special by a couple of dollars. The store was usually empty every time we went during lunch hours which meant little to no wait. Food was fast and fresh and the portion size was good for the price. We always did take out and used utensils from home so I felt bad every time I threw out the forks they provided.

If there was a way to give zero stars I would , I ordered shrimp and chicken with extra chicken no vegetables I get home and realize not only did they give me vegetables but they put a lot of vegetables topped up with very little chicken and shrimp to make it look it was the extra chicken I paid for and mind you I paid for the extra chicken 16$ for chicken shrimp and extra vegetables , this was my first time at this place and last time also the yum yum sauce is spicy and red looking which is not what I usually get at other sarku Japan locations , this is basically a knock off sarku Japan.

I saw a long line in front of Sarku Japan, but dont be fooled by the long line. I saw the food that they cook in front of you, and thought “wow, this looks yummy.” Boy was I wrong. I am going to keep this review shorter than my other reviews.

We had to wait 15 minutes for our chicken teriyaki. The owner gave customers who came after us their chicken teriyaki before us. He was rude and threw our food into the bag. Won’t be back!
