Sassy bird is a Nashville fried chicken restaurant. In case you don’t know what Nashville hot chicken is it’s fried chicken with spicy oil for flavor. Sassy bird gets six different types of hot flavor and all of them are amazing. The first time I went here I got the sassy Mack ball. this is a bowl filled with mac & cheese, chicken of your flavor, pickles, coleslaw, and a choice of either fries or tater tots. I personally love tater tots and get them every chance I get, and I think you made a huge difference getting tater tots with his bowl. This bowl was everything I wanted all combined together. It’s packed with flavor and very very filling. Be prepared to want to take a nap after eating his bowl but well worth it. The second time I went there I got the loaded fries. Once again, you can get it loaded fries with your choice of french fries or tater tots or both. So I got the loaded half-and-half, which comes with have fries have tater tots, their sassy sauce, pickles, and coleslaw. I put pictures and the box was literally busting out with these fries. The first bite was phenomenal and I did close my eyes to enjoy it. I highly recommend one of these two dishes for the first time going. It’s a great introduction, but feel free to try everything on the menu because everything is amazing. I will be coming back to this place and I will be trying everything on the menu.

Normally my family and I LOVE sassy bird, but today one of our orders was supposed to be the mac and cheese dish (with the fixings) and another order had a side order of Mac and cheese that was supposedly 8 oz for an additional $6 dollars. You’ll see the pics below but my Mac and cheese bowl had little no no Mac and the side dish was a joke for $6 more. If they didn’t have as much Mac any more they could’ve just said so and we gladly would’ve chosen something else off the menu. The flavor of everything is always great and they usually have it ready in a timely manner I just wish we received what we actually ordered. Really disappointed.

This was the place that got me into Nashville hot chicken. Their loaded tots (or fries) are an incredibly filling multi-layered meal with lots of flavor profiles that are very complementary. I do wish they offered some sort of covered seating, but doubt that will ever be possible due to their location. I also wish they had a true “medium” heat level, as the mild has barely any bite (though still delicious), but the next level up is hot, and it more than lives up to its name. Some people complain about the prices, but the portions are so large, I almost always get 2 meals out of it. All in all, a delicious meal that I definitely indulge on regularly.

First and foremost, the food was delicious. Next time, I will try the HOT as the mild wasn’t too spicy. My experience here was great. Friendly greeting, you can tell that customer service is important to them. These days, most food service establishments have horrible customer service, but not Sassy Bird. They were very gracious with me. I may have ordered the wrong item, but they replaced it. Nonetheless, both items I received were fresh and taste great. I’ll will be back. Thank you!!! Tried Sassy Bird for the first time today 12/15/2020 and I gotta say I was impressed. Ordered some loaded fries, chicken sandwich, and some tenders . The servings on these loaded fries are easily for 2 people great taste chicken is juicy and tender I had the mild ones and they were great the coleslaw compliments everything first time I had fries like that loved it. The tenders are huge crunchy and juicy lots of flavor and the smell quickly fills up your car lol. The chicken sandwich was awesome the fries compliment the sandwich nicely over all a great experience will I be back you bet!! Employees were nice and friendly I came back for mire sauce and Jessica was quick to help and very friendly!

Since them being opened they never disappointed. They are busy so be prepared. The chicken is tender and well balanced seasoning. With big pickle slices and coslaw. I recommend doing the loaded Tots box with extra chicken. The meal is not cheap, however they give generous portion to bring your appetite allong with your wallet. Crispy Tots and tender juicy chicken breast. I tried there new Buffalo lemon pepper and was very tasty. At first bite you taste the lemon pepper then the hear turns on with the Buffalo. Long lasting flavor and spice sure to leave your spicy senses satisfied!
