The PCFrog (PCFROG)
Wife and I ordered a porkchop and chicken alfredo. The porkchop was cook top notch and the seasoning was not over powering. The chicken alfredo was a little heavy on the seasoning that was directly on the chicken. The delivery of the chicken alfredo in a bowl was not very inviting to the eyes and visually makes the dish look bland. The service was very good and the staff was attentive. The atmosphere of the place is a little confusing. They in general serve southern American food yet over 1/2 the places is decorated with a European flair. The TV mounted over the mural does not flow and the large screen projector showing a city scape is… I don’t know. Overall I felt like we walked into a confusing lunch room.

I loved the ambient and service plus the food was magnificent and in great portions. The sweet tea was impossible to put down. My steak was perfectly cooked medium rate and the salads were whole 30 compatible.

One of the best places I have had the pleasure to eat at. Comfortable environment and the most welcoming staff. Selection of food is plentiful and their portions are amazing. For being a small restaurant, it is so well managed and maintained. Food was on point and I couldn’t be happier. So thankful to see an owner publicly share her faith and conviction to God and Christ openly in a way that is still welcoming to anyone who comes through those doors. I will be praying for Sharla’s success (the owner) that her restaurant continues to be a light to the community. God bless you Sharla and your entire staff!!!

I take my fiance to eat here sometimes and we both love it! My mom and dad eat here alot, too. The food, the atmosphere, the quality of people is top notch. You won’t find friendlier staff or owners anywhere else on the Gulf Coast than at Sassy’s.

Food was good. Atmosphere was okay. Price was extremely high….very quiet atmosphere and they allowed some guy or kid to loudly play the piano (he could not play piano) he played very loud and annoying for 30 minutes before the staff forced him to stop. (He was a customer.)

Our trip to this restaurant was not planned, but we are very glad we stopped in. We had never been to Hurley before. The food and atmosphere were excellent. The staff all worked together to take care of customers. The food was great. Very pricey, but worth the splurge. Desserts were great too.

A very pleasant surprise. Much larger and nicer inside than the outside would leave you to believe. Waitress was very personable, menu had a good selection of items. I had a catfish sandwich which was very tasty. Pretty much a family vibe at the lunch hour. They could use some wine but there is no alcohol. Still, I will certainly go back.
